A message to the City about the panhandling "clean up'" campaign...

The current "War on the Poor" Climate within the City of Worcester will not be tolerated by citizens of conscience. Many have asked that the Anti-panhandling signs be taken down. The city has not listened. Now people have taken matters into their own hands. The signs are not the resting place of this issue though, but a symbolic manifestation of a much deeper issue of hate and gentrification that is being pedaled by City Counsil, Mayor Tim Murray, and Not in My Back Yard politics. As citizens we are appalled by this lack of compassion and out right hate.
