Worcester City Councilors weighed in with their latest position on Worcester's pools this past week which ran from Councilor Rushton's belief that at least 5 pools could be open to City Councilor Haller's belief that, "It may well be there are no safe pools".
Meanwhile, District 3 City Councilor Paul Clancy took the position that, "waste of time to even think about opening pools".

Shame on Mike O'Brien who , as Parks and Recreation Commissioner,he let the pools get into this condition in the first place. We did not get here without years of neglect. Even Tim Murray has culpability on this one as he gave raises to folks on his way out the door and let the poorest of our citizens down. I would include Bob Moylan in this also. He, who, against the neighbors demands, insists on making Greenhill Golf course a restaurant/bar. Why is a penny of money being spent on that while leaving the pools neglected?
